Child Evangelism Fellowship, also known as CEF, is a Bible-centered, worldwide organization that is dedicated to seeing every child reached with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, discipled and established in a local church. Child Evangelism Fellowship uses a number of venues to reach children with the message of the gospel. CEF has different types of evangelistic programs, but the two most identified with the organization are 5-Day Club and Good News Club. These two exciting ministries take place in neighborhood settings such as homes, backyards, schools and community centers all over the world. These fast-paced, one-hour programs are designed to bring the Gospel of Christ to children on their level in their environment.
Along with the clubs, CEF also has camping, open-air, internet and correspondence outreach programs for children. CEF conducts Christian Youth in Action (CYIA) camps during the summer to train believers to work with children. They also have outreaches at the Clark County Fair each summer. Many local families host Good News Clubs in their homes. The local director is Tracy Halstead.
Glenwood supports CEF with part of the annual cross-cultural ministry budget.
