Road Construction Update
Good news from the county! NE 119th Street is now open every day of the week! We can return to normal entrance into and exit from the Glenwood campus including on Sundays.
After a five-week closure to replace the Curtin Creek culvert, NE 119th Street is scheduled to reopen to through traffic by early afternoon on Monday, Aug. 10.
A short section of NE 119th Street, about a half mile east of NE 72nd Avenue, was closed for the culvert work.
Significant construction will continue along the corridor, particularly near NE 72nd Avenue. Drivers should expect delays in the corridor and may want to use alternate routes, such as Padden Parkway to the south and NE 139th Street to the north. A map showing these routes is on the county website: www.clark.wa.gov/publicworks.
A reduced speed limit of 25 mph will remain on NE 119th Street between NE 72nd Avenue and NE 87th Avenue. Please remember that fines are double for speeding and other infractions in a construction zone.
Access to all businesses will remain open during construction.
Clark County Public Works appreciates your patience and understanding during construction.
Thank you.
