New Director of Worship

At our annual meeting earlier this year, we shared that our leadership team had begun a search for a full-time Director of Worship. This past Sunday, May 5, we were delighted to announce that we have found someone who will be a great fit at Glenwood. His name is Ben Rico. 

Ben was born and raised in Chicago. He began playing music at a young age and has continued since, studying cello and music in worship at North Park University and serving as a worship leader and director for the last six years. Ben sings and plays a number of instruments, including guitar, piano, and cello. In addition to playing music, he enjoys the outdoors and being active, reading, spending time with friends and family, and cooking. 

Ben presently serves at Chatham Bible Church in Saint Louis, Missouri. He and his wife Linnea just recently celebrated the birth of their daughter. 

The Ricos plan to move to Vancouver at the end of May, and Ben will start at Glenwood at the beginning of June. Ben and Linnea are excited to join with our church family in cultivating reproducing Spirit-transformed relationships in the power of Christ and walking forward together into worship, community, and mission.
