Saturday, October 18, Glenwood will be hosting an evangelism seminar from Stefan Gustavsson entitled, “How to Persuasively Communicate the Gospel.” This seminar is designed to be a combination of knowledge and practical training in order to put tools in your hand to confidently communicate the gospel persuasively to those that have legitimate questions. You can pick up a flyer at the table in the foyer with a schedule of what you’ll learn.
What did the Apostle Paul do when Pre-Christian Europe was pagan, relativistic, and pluralistic? With the Jews, Paul argued from the Old Testament Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ. With the Greeks, he used their literature and cultural artifacts to argue that the “unknown God” had been revealed. In every context, Paul persuasively communicates the Gospel. In the 21st century, we are in a state very similar to Paul’s time. Just as Paul engaged non-believers where they were, today, followers of Christ need to be able to persuasively communicate that Christianity is true and relevant. In this seminar, we will look in-depth into strategies to communicate the Gospel more persuasively
