High School Read-Thrus Are Here!

If you are a High School student interested in learning more about God's Word and spending time with others who share your interst, then come out to the High School Read-Thrus that are starting September 19th (for guys and girls) and September 21st (for girls only)! 

Read-Thru is a time for high school students to come together to share what they have been reading and learning from God’s Word.  We gather together in small groups of guys and girls once a week to listen to and encourage one another.  Read-Thru gives students a chance to share what God is teaching them and to hear what God is teaching their friends. 

We do Read-Thru because we believe that our relationship with God is the most important thing about us.  Because of Jesus’ death in our place, we have the amazing privilege of being in a loving relationship with God.  Just like any relationship, we believe that communication is vital.  And what better way to communicate with God then to learn who He is and listen to His voice through the Bible—His written Word!  We do Read-Thru because we love God and want to grow in our relationship with Him. 

We also do Read-Thru because it is so important to grow together as a community of people who are committed to following Jesus.  Read-Thru gives us the chance to hear what God is teaching others.  It also provides a time where we can share each other’s burdens through prayer and encouragement.

Read-Thrus for guys and girls will happen on Monday nights during the school year from 7:00-8:30pm.  Girls will meet at the Nymeyers and guys will meet at the House at church.  This year we are also offering a Girls Read Thru on Wednesday nights from 5:15-6:30pm at the church.
