Happy Valentines Day! I hope you all have been able to share today with loved ones, celebrating love for each other that is ultimately a reflection of God's love for us.

Today was truly a holiday for us. We got to sleep in! Though most of us were up with the sun. We then went up to a look out point above Port au Prince and got to see a gorgeous view of the city, though it was a little hazy so we didn't see as much as you sometimes can.

We also got a lesson in the skill of bartering as we attempted to get good deals on souvenirs.... Some of us did great, some of us learned that is not our forte, but at least we are supporting the Haitian economy, right?

We then got to spend some time eating delicious dinner of steak, and lots of yummy sides! After dinner we played a rousing game of Encore in which we were forced to rack our memories of songs containing certain words! Not to brag or anything, but the girls might have won!

While it might be a different Valentine's Day than we have all experienced before, and not just because we are getting to wear shorts and are sweating, it has still been one full of God's love and great fellowship!

It's going to be bittersweet when we head back to the states tomorrow!
