New Director of HS Ministries

This last Sunday, February 5th, Pastor Paul announced that we have offered the position of Director of High School Ministries to Brandon Dickson, and Brandon has accepted!  He will begin his new role in late February.

Here's some information about Brandon and his wife, Amy:

Brandon Dickson and his wife, Amy, currently live in Greenville, South Carolina, but Brandon was raised in Southwest Washington.  Brandon and Amy were married last year.  Brandon went to University of Missouri - St. Louis on a music scholarship and then studied apologetics in seminary (Covenant Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri).

Brandon has worked in a wide variety of church, para-church and business environments, bringing energy and relational acumen to the programs in which he worked. For a number of summers, he was extensively involved in a ministry focused on growing students and young adults in their faith and helping them understand why they believe what they believe. While in St. Louis, Brandon worked in the local church in both adult and children ministries. He and Amy both have traveled widely to Europe, South America and Africa, working with Global Encounters leading short-term ministry trips.  Brandon works now providing technical support to healthcare offices in the Greenville area.

On a personal level, Brandon played basketball for Prairie High School and has a black belt in karate.  He plays both the violin and piano and has performed with our own Colleen Adent.  Brandon is a lover of Star Wars and good coffee.
